Stand Up for Haiti was a
smashing success. Those lucky enough to be part of the sellout crowd were treated to performances by Dave Attell, Lewis Black, Gilbert Gottfried, Capone, Ruperto Vanderpool, Mike Vecchione, Darrell Hammond, Jeffrey Ross, and many, many more comics.

But what distinguished Stand Up for Haiti from other, less entertaining star-studded Haiti fundraisers - [cough cough] George Clooney [cough cough] was the crowd at Carolines. You have never seen a drunker, rowdier crowd at a disaster relief benefit in your life! While Bono and, we don't know, Miley Cyrus were busy churning out a cover of "Tears in Heaven" on the Clooney-cast, Ed Lover was over at Carolines dry-humping a microphone stand as part of his "Jamaican pick up lines" routine. See the difference?
To prove just how rowdy, funny, and exciting a disaster relief benefit can be, here are some exclusive Power 105.1 FM pics:
Dave Attell in "creative" black tie

Lewis Black, looking uncharacteristically calm and stoic

Capone wearing part of the Steve Harvey Men's Collection

Gilbert in his socially-comfortable face

Kevin Hart, who is headlining this weekend at Carolines (10 sold-out shows!!!)

Julian McCollough

Paul Mooney, who murdered and skinned a bear just minutes before his performance

Jeff Ross, who absolutely KILLED it at S U 4 Haiti

Ruperto Vanderpool - Lewis Black responded to Vanderpool's performance that "Ruperto does more in 10 minutes on stage than I do in a week. I'm exhausted. That's it. My set is over."

Mike Vecchione, winner of the 2009 NY's Funniest Stand Up Competition

And Rich Vos

All in all, an amazing night for an amazing cause. See more photos, recaps, whatever at
